Studio Lessons

The Alonzo Music Studio offers private, one-on-one lessons in a comfortable home studio located  in Surprise, AZ. Individual attention is given to each student in a clean and quiet atmosphere, with a friendly and positive environment. Combining Traditional and Conservatory Methods with the time proven Suzuki Method, a thorough grounding in all aspects of technique, musicianship, and repertoire are presented to each student. A great attention to detail is given to every student while still having lessons that are enjoyable.

There are no registration fees or contracts to sign and essons will only be given by Ms. Alonzo with no substitute teachers being used.
 
Insights and experiences gained from my live performances and recording sessions are used to further teach and inspire students. To help deliver a more complete musical education, all students are encouraged to participate in annual performance recitals, perform at school or community events, and attend live performances of fellow musicians. And performing with local area orchestras is highly recommended.
 
The Alonzo Music Studio is currently accepting students of all skill levels from beginning to advanced, and age groups of 7 years through adult..
 
Former students have received numerous scholarships and awards to major conservatories and universities, including: Oberlin Conservatory of Music, Chapman University, California Institute of the Arts, Berklee College of Music, University of Southern California, University of Michigan, Pepperdine University, Haverford College, Brown University, Wake Forest University, and more. Several have participated in the Interlochen Center for the Arts Summer Music Program, and the Great Viola workout in Crested Butte, Colorado. In addition to playing with major symphonies around the world, some students have toured with major artists such as Adele, Beyoncé, Elton John, Celine Dion, Pink, Kelly Clarkson and many more, and perform annually at the Grammys, Oscars and Country Music Awards. And former students can also be seen as part of the Vitamin String Quartet and on the silver screen as performers in major motion pictures.
